A few days ago I put a call out looking for a second blogger that could create some additional posts and help me keep the content flowing. John Lewis has stepped up to the challenge. He is a game master and player with years and years of experience spanning many different types of games (perfect for RoleplayingPro).

His bread and butter are D&D. He plans to mostly focus on his DM’ing stuff, campaign design and ideas, and roleplaying theory and application. I’ve pretty much given him the green light to write about whatever he wants.

So John thanks for coming on board. Don’t let these sharks… I mean, readers, bite into you too much. RoleplayingPro has cut a little niche with some controversial topics, so hopefully we’ll keep that going. I love a heated discussion!

  1. Welcome John! Hope you enjoy your blogging, and can’t wait to read something of yours.

  2. Welcome and good luck with everything. I look forward to seeing some different perspectives on things and maybe some games outside of what I’ve seen before….

  3. As I said, John’s bread and butter is gamemastering Dungeons & Dragons. But he’s got a ton of experience with other games that I’ve never played before, so I’m actually looking forward to learning some stuff from him.

Thank you for the intro and the invite. Like Sam mentioned I’ve been roleplaying for quite awhile, since the early 80′s anyway and virtually all of that time has ben as a game master. This is my first shot at blogging but I’m really looking forward to sharing some thoughts and ideas about the hobby.

In the coming months I will be blogging about game mechanical design and theory, campaign construction, adventure creation, roleplaying tips and techniques, and of course the occasional rant about the things that drive me nuts about gaming and gamers. Myself included!

Anyway thanks again Sam. I look forward to many lively discussions, debates, and the opportunity to share my favorite hobby with all of you.

  5. Welcome to the community John. I’m looking forward to seeing your posts.
