Wizards of the Coast will be kicking off its Worldwide D&D Game Day on March 21st, 2009. This game day is a mini-celebration that really is taking place to kick off the release of the Player’s Handbook 2. This is pretty much a widely known fact, as Wizards of the Coast is slowly taking over the gaming universe.

Only slightly less well known is this (see that parallel with the opening quote), the Official Spycraft Day is March 20th, 2009! It is a day to honor the art of espionage and play the game that is Spycraft. You don’t even need to be part of the Wizards Play Network or a WPN Organizer to run the game (unlike those who want to run a D&D Game Day).

I’d like to ask the rest of the RPG blogging community to visit your local hobby stores and cover these events. Most hobby stores will try to get involved in the Worldwide D&D Game Day. Obviously, most of them will not know about the Official Spycraft Day. So tell them! Spread the love out to some of the non-WotC games! And support your local game store in the process! And use more exclamation points!
